Join us on Friday, March 6 for an evening of live music, meaningful recognition, and community impact at the Not So Gala, Gala. This signature event, presented by Beech Mountain Resort, brings guests together in support of the Colon Cancer Coalition and the ongoing effort to raise awareness and funding for one of the nation’s most preventable yet deadly cancers.
The evening begins at 5 p.m., with dinner service from Reid’s Catering offered through 7 p.m. Following dinner, the program and festivities will begin.
We are honored to have David Jackson, President of the Boone Area Chamber of Commerce, serve as Master of Ceremonies for the evening. Guests will enjoy a live auction led by Boone’s favorite auctioneer, Jesse Miller, with all proceeds directly benefiting the Colon Cancer Coalition.
The night will open with live music from the Jenkins Twins, followed by a featured performance from The SteelDrivers as the evening’s main act. Known for their powerful sound and award winning bluegrass style, The SteelDrivers will close out the celebration with a performance that reflects the spirit and generosity of the event.
A highlight of the evening will be the presentation of the KG Ripple Effect Award, honoring an individual whose connection to cancer has inspired meaningful action and lasting impact within our community.
Tickets are $100 per person. Every ticket purchased and every auction bid placed supports the mission of the Colon Cancer Coalition and advances lifesaving awareness and research efforts.
